Frequently Asked Questions
How do I setup an account?
Just click on CREATE AN ACCOUNT and fill out the short application. Although you don't HAVE to create an account. It does make reorders easier and it is a nice thing to be able to see your order history.
How long does production take?
Most orders will print within a day or two and will normally be finished within 3-5
business days. We ship the day the order completes and after that you will be able to track the order with a standard UPS tracking number.
Can I change paper or quantity after Iʼve finished an order?
We can usually modify an order within the first day of placing the order. After that they “lock” and cannot be cancelled.
How do you ship?
We have standarized on UPS for all our shipments. Our system requires us to ship out on our account only.
What type of files are accepted?
Although a properly prepared PDF file is the best format - we can accept .AI (Adobe Illustrator) or .PSD (Adobe Photoshop) in CS3 or CS4 format. We can also accept .EPS, .JPG, or .TIF formats. Outline all fonts in your final document!
What are the bleed settings?
Please follow our easy templates to setup the proper page size. For most trimmed and folded cards and one-sheets, we need 1/16” bleed on all 4-sides. Our templates make it easy to see how to set things up. For example, for a 5x7 postcard your document size needs to be 5.125 x 7.125
Should I include crop marks or any other control marks when making my PDF files?
When generating your pdf files - please leave all the settings at the default (think simple!) this generates a pdf file that includes just the page and nothing else. This is what we need to put your job on the fast track in production.
What are your resolution specs?
With our very high screen resolution of 250 LPI images will look their best at 300-350dpi, and line art should be 1200dpi.
Can I send a front & back together in a single file?
It is great to send the front and back together in the same PDF (or other) file. Just please donʼt send more than a single job (printed item) in the same file.
How do I upload my art to Delta - can I send loose files?
Please use our handy upload link HERE
and PLEASE dropstuff or .zip your files together prior to upload. This helps to shorten the upload time and it also helps to prevent damaged or corrupt files.
Why not have an FTP?
We have found that our dropbox is MUCH easier for our clients. No password hassles and since our server maintains a backup copy of your job - no lost files. Please look for the "upload art" link in the upper right corner of our site or....click HERE
